Enjoy a walk to Filey Brigg Country Park or venture out along the small peninsula to take in the wildlife. The Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park is a great activity for those with younger children, with a chance to meet some friendly farm animals up close and some pretty birds, whilst the Filey Dams Nature Reserve is another great walking place.

The Flamborough Heritage Coastline offers miles of walking opportunities and a visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs is an absolute must. Further along the coast are the thriving towns of Bridlington and Scarborough, and inland are the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. There are a number of golf courses to choose from should you wish to enjoy a round or two, and for shopping the port town of Hull and historic walled city of York are both under an hour away.
