"My husband and I had a lovely stay. The gorgeous view alone would have been plenty, but the entire place was cozy, well-furnished, comfortable, clean, charming, and quiet. Had a great time trying to spot birds in the trees with kindly provided binoculars—which was just the kind of low-key activity we were looking for. It exceeded our expectations. "

"We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. "Nestled in the sweet spot of the Laurel Highlands, Shawn’s cabin did not disappoint. Ample, easy parking. A large front deck with table and chairs, partly covered. There’s a fire pit and a barbecue grill. The newly renovated cabin’s interior was beautiful. Cathedral ceilings, open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living together. Comfortable furniture, excellent TV. The kitchen was very well equipped. A full sized fridge and stove, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom with shower was...

"Our family loved our stay in this perfect, cozy mountaintop retreat. The location can't be beat as it is literally the closest home to Laurel Mountain Ski Resort. The place had everything you need for a great time away, including wonderful little touches such as the wood stove being prepped for a fire upon our arrival. The owners' communication was exceptional from checkin throughout our stay. We are already in the process of booking another stay at this lovely cabin."

"Pulled up and garbage all over the front. Opened the door and smell made us gag. Hair all over bathroom so we left and did not stay. Horrible area of town, property is disgusting"

"Finch House is a wonderful property. The location right beside a stream is peaceful. All of the light switches are labeled!! That is a level of detail much appreciated. The entire aesthetic of the home was perfect. I coild have sat for hours outside on the patio or the sheltered shed porch. Thank you John and Kathleen for such a pleasant stay. "My wife and I and our two dogs really enjoyed a Memorial Day weekend at this well-stocked chalet near Indian Lake. The host responded within minutes of any question and followed up to make sure we had everything we needed. The massage chair, big screen TV and back deck that walks out to a green space were perfect. There is an on site restaurant that we wanted to try but ran out of time so hopefully we will be back soon! "

"Spent the weekend visiting family. Enjoyed staying in downtown Windber and walking to our favorite bars and restaurants. Property was in a perfect location on Somerset Ave. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We look forward to booking again in the future."
