"Overall it is a great location and base for adventure. Our group met Dr Pol and crew, visited Reindeer Rooftops, Carrie grocery and Yoder’s grocery. Dined at The Herrick House and Mulberry Cafe. The ATV trails made walking in the morning a delight. The black squirrel sightings thrilled my niece. The deer greeted us several times during the day. "Lovely older cottage that's been nicely remodeled and updated, with newer appliances. Very pet-friendly and it was great to have a fenced yard for the dogs. Our Frenchie really enjoyed the "sunbathing" spots by the big sliding doors.The vacant lot on one side made it feel like we had a bit more privacy.The view of the lake is superb. Both the neighborhood and lake were quiet and peaceful during our stay - several pontoons and kayaks went by, but no noisy boats."

"Location is good a little walk to the lake, but a beautiful view. How cozy the house felt. The hot tub was nice after a long day to relax and unwind. My husband and I love to go rock hunting. He’s a geologist so going to Lake Michigan was our number one priority and it did not disappoint. It’s only a little over an hour drive from the house. "This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. "The cottage was exactly as shown. Our host kept us informed with everything we needed to know. We were there off season and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
