"The house it self was great! Great location, clean with decent size rooms. But the beds were too soft and didn’t provide neck or back support. And the bathroom in the closet isn’t very functional. Everyone in our family is tall and there was no leg room. The hosts were great with communication and gave clear instructions."

"This brand new home was perfect for our holiday vacation. Kristin and Terry were wonderful hosts, and there were many lovely personal touches throughout the home. The space was comfortable and we had everything we needed during our stay. Check-in was easy and the entire experience was stress free. We highly recommend this property! "

"Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back."

"Nice cozy bungalow in convenient location to historic restaurant and good bakery. Easy check in and very friendly and helpful host. Pet friendly with fenced back yard. Had all amenities with well stocked kitchen. Had to wash a few glasses and coffee carafe needed cleaning but was a good stay!"
