"What a fantastic place for friends and/or family to get together! The house is set up perfectly for everyone to hang out and be together in common spaces while also giving everyone privacy of their own room and many bathroom options. The "apartment" was directly connected to the house and simply felt like an additional upper level. The home is clean and spacious and well appointed. "We had a fantastic time. Even though the weather was crummy, rain and cloudy, we could sit inside and watch the rain fall and do small crafts while staying dry. Dan was super responsive if i had to reach out for anything. Having the coffee available, woth cream and sugar is such a nice touch. The beds are super soft and warm. "I stayed at Pheasant Cottage with my two dogs, and it was perfect. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the backyard is huge. The canoes are nearby, and the cottage is separated from the lodge so it feels secluded, even when the resort is fully booked. We'd love to come again! "

"The property and water smelled like sewage. We were told to let the water run. The smell still persisted so we were unable to shower at the property. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. There were dead bees and lady bugs in the carpet. The bedding was not fresh it smelled musty.
