"For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary."

"My wife and I stayed for 7 days. 10/10- would recommend to a friend- will be back! Our hosts, Trish & Chris, were absolutely stellar. They are both kind, friendly, knowledgeable, salt of the Earth people, and excellent cooks! The breakfasts were customized to our needs and desires and were scrumptious! The setting is divine- so quiet, surrounded by nature, and truly beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was, however, no in-room mini fridge! "A wonderful welcome from the front desk staff- Jacinta and Erin. Ana Marie greets you with a smile in the restaurant and offers the best coffee and meal to start your day. Conor is friendly and is always available for assistance at the leisure center. If you happen to get a sea view room you will love it! "

"Very pleasant and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking, good choice of well prepared food at both breakfast and dinner. Professionally run but with staff who are friendly and conversational. The room was clean and spacious with beautiful views over the water. Highly recommend. "

"Friendly staff, great breakfast, I loved that we had a choice of full Irish, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or pancakes. The room was really large, bed was good and comfy. We could not get the heating to work, but kept the window closed to keep the room warmer. Shower pressure was not great, but adequate."

"Loved the included breakfast and having a washer/ dryer in the unit. Staff was very kind. Early morning noise was a problem but maybe would have been less of an issue if the window would close all the way. "

"The property was beautiful. The room seas spacious and everything exceeded expectations. The staff was super friendly and there was a delicious breakfast in the morning. I would go back to Kenmare just to stay at the property."

"A really lovely hotel in a magnificent village. Very friendly and professional staff . Nice large well presented room . Great continental breakfast included free, great selection. The area is astounding. We took a boat trip to Garnish Island,15 mins . Basking seals on the way and a truly beautiful island that had been gifted to the nation by a man who created a remarkable paradise.Glengarriff goes straight to number one in my favourite places ."
