"Simon was a very polite host but we had a few issues with our stay. The apartment is near a nightclub and on one night had to pass our way through the crowd to enter. It wasn't just the noise from the nightclub but also pigeons in /behind the bedroom wall which made it very hard to sleep. We told Simon who kindly offered us another room but at that point we'd decided to leave early. Whilst the place was clean and tidy it had poor shower pressure, limited storage and a faulty TV. "Staff all nice. Room worn but clean and tidy so a reasonable stay. Hopefully the following is helpful feedback; Fridge not working (a 2nd one added to the room wasn't working either). Kettle lid broken and kept falling off when filling with water. The in-shower shelf was missing therefore shower gel on the floor. Not a worry to me but maybe to less mobile people. Rooms are not very sound proofed so corridor noise is a problem without very good earplugs. Bed comfy. The bar and lobby are...

"A grand hotel building set on a picturesque estate with very good parking. It is set quite of the beaten path and the lane leading to the car park area was quite bumpy, dirty and replete with potholes. The hotel is part of the Sure Collection which is Best Western's premier line.
