"As advertised, this house was a fantastic summer getaway. In fact, we never left the house! The house had everything we needed, including kayaks. It was very clean and well maintained. We will be back next summer for another adventure. "

The house and property have everything you need to have a great time from the time you get up to the time you go to bed. "We have been renting houseboats for years on Norris Lake, however this was our first experience, staying on a houseboat that had to remain at the dock. Honestly, we were a little apprehensive about remaining dock side but ended up, enjoying being dockside more than when we are anchored somewhere on the lake. "We, family of 6 w 4 adult children and our small dogs spent a week here while at a family reunion. Nice at the house it had everything you’d need in the kitchen n baths including float to relax in the lake. And what a view. The challenge is getting here. The last 5 miles or so takes about 20 mins of hairpin turns up and down the tn hills. Use your gps overall we had a blast"

There were window AC units in the living room and master bedroom which was nice, but the bunk room was pretty hot. However, the host had a bunch of box fans in the unit that made it completely fine.
