"We stayed here for two nights while visiting Rocky Mountain National park. The property is very convenient to the park. I wouldn’t call this a resort but more a collection of cabins. The surrounding yard is fairly rough and cabins are older but well maintained inside. Nice to have a hot tub in the unit but it does make it a bit humid and warm. "The room was very clean and the suite came with more then enough towels and other amenities for our stay and the trails and river were also great to walk through and enjoy. If I return to estees I will go back to stonebrook. The short drive into town makes traversing estees easy while still being away from the majority of traffic"

"Keep in mind, we visited in the peak of summer, this hotel is over 100 years old, and in the mountains. That being said, there is no AC in the rooms but there were plenty of fans provided which was enough to keep the room cool. The hotel has pretty outdoor areas and well kempt with a sparkling pool, cute fire pit area, and outside sitting area. Loved that the rooms had a small kitchenette to make or heat up food. Also loved the large traditional coffee pot as opposed to what newer hotels offer....

"The rooms are very small, but clean. It has the feel of a 1960s roadside motel. The mattress was OK but not great. The pool was a lot of fun. The staff was wonderful."

"The positives: Very clean and comfortable place to stay! Loved being next to the river. Perfect location between Estes and the national park entrance! Beautiful grounds. Had elk walk through the property while we were there! Check in and out was fantastic and the price was reasonable! They have a storage room we had 24 hour access to with most our needs. "Our room was large and spacious. Everything in the kitchen was working. Bathroom clean and roomy. Bed slept well and the sofa was comfortable. The staff were helpful with info."

"Old 1970’s building low ceilings with heavy metal doors at entry to hallways with no elevator to upper floors except the tower section. Paid 400$ a night for room, way over priced had to move right away because there was dirt on bathroom walls and behind sink and dirty toilet paper behind the door. Next room was up more stairs old over. Priced nothing like beds in advertising . Stairs to lobby and pool."

"The staff was lovely and kind. The main pool and our hot tub were both really well maintained and clean. The carpet in the cabin had really large stains which were very unsightly. There was a great deal of dust on the furniture and ledges. The most disappointing aspect was that the wifi was down for most of our stay and I needed to work over the week. This made my work a challenge. Overall though it was a lovely vacation and we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone is so friendly."

"Staff were nice location spot on and loved the heated pool although some sun umbrellas would have been appreciated. The hotel itself is dated and a bit shabby reminiscent of a cheap roadside motel. Expensive for what it is but I guess you are paying for the location!"
