La residencia es una de las casas de playa más cercanas ubicadas a solo unos pasos de la arena. Sin escaleras ni colinas, en menos de 30 segundos por la puerta de atrás, está en medio de la vida de la playa del sur de California en su máxima expresión mientras disfruta de la privacidad y el lujo de una hermosa casa construida con la mejor calidad arquitectónica y decorada profesionalmente. Fantastic Location!

Wow! We will be coming back to this property. My family loved staying here. We walked to Moonlight beach, the park, and all over the town of Encinitas. There are so many places in the house to sleep and relax. The owner was so responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway.

Amazing Location & Great Home

We had an extra long weekend with our adult kids and their partners + two grand-babies. This house was perfect for us. It’s half block to the beach and a great playground. One block from the start of “downtown Encinitas”. Completely walkable to everything you could want. The 2Q room was perfect for the family of four; we used the other three Q bedrooms for couples; and the master-K for us. They built a twin-bunk into the walk-in closet of the 2Q room (great use of space!). There is a bathroom for each bedroom! We spent a lot of time on the deck and bbq’d twice. Relatively quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was fantastically large and we loved that the dining table could seat us all. The house was furnished as pictured and lacked for nothing. The home could us a little TLC here and there, but overall, we were very pleased and would definitely stay here again. This home had the old-school VRBO vibe with a pantry full of spices and random goodies left from previous renters. A++

Beautiful home, perfect location!

We loved our stay in Encinitas! This home had plenty of room for all of us and was stocked with all the necessities. The location was a perfect spot. Easy to walk to the beach and downtown to local shops. we all enjoyed sitting on the deck for meals and relaxing. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Family gettaway

The place was perfect for our family get-together. Kitchen was nicely stocked with the essentials for cooking. Lovely big dining table for us all to have dinner together. Lots of spaces for hangouts without being on top of one another. The proximity to the beach, park and shops could not have been better. I would be thrilled to return one day. It was a really special vacation.

Great summer beach house

We had a blast in Encinitas this weekend and would love to stay again! It was awesome that there were so many beach items available for us to use and we barely needed to use any of our personal items. Rebecca is a great host and so jealous of her property. I guess the only bummer was that there wasn’t a jacuzzi anymore but that was minor with all the activities we had planned.

Bachelorette weekend

Beautiful property with lots of space and very close to the beach. We stayed for a bachelorette weekend and it was lovely. 10 minute walk to Herb and Sea, Shelter, and the Roxie as well as Lofty. Great time!

Getaway by the Shore

The Modern Beach House was the perfect place for our extended family to enjoy a relaxed vacation. The kitchen/living room/dining room were all part of a large שרק so we could all be together when prepping meals. The house is very well equipped for fun at the beach. Any issues that came up were quickly dealt with by our host Rebecca.

It was exactly as it was advertised. Beautiful patio, a quick around the corner to walking on the beach. Rooms for our entire family. Inside and outside dining, garage access to alley. Always parking available. We walked to everything in Encinitas. We would book definitely.

A Week with a View

Very spacious with many amenities. We had a great time at the beach (easy walk), getting great ice cream and bakery treats (3 block walk), and enjoying family meals--either grilled on grill provided or brought in from several nearby restaurants. Also some wonderful memories of putting a jigsaw puzzle together and playing games. With an easy block of one stairway, our crawling baby enjoyed being here as well as giving all the family fun watching him. Stairs are plentiful, however, so not the best for someone with limited mobility.

Avoid...

The best thing about this property is the location. From there it goes DOWNHILL, and I suggest you avoid this rental. First, this location advertises a hot tub in the description/photos. One can see where the hot tub had been. I tried to work with the property manager on a small refund, but they didn't communicate timely or offer one. They said they would offer a full refund, but who is going to move 14 people/children with no place to go 24 hours after unpacking and moving in (pack-n-plays, grocery deliveries, etc). It just wasn't feasible. Second, this place is run on the cheap. It needs some maintenance, but obviously they are trying to save a buck. Just a little TLC would make a stay here much better. -master bed broke with broken pieces in the closet -multiple plugins that don't work -2 broken kitchen chairs -multiple lights burned out -broken stair tile -slow-draining sinks -slow draining master shower up to ankles -chipped coffee carafe (which broke upon washing) -broken wall fence leaning against house Lastly, poor communication with property manager. I had to beg them to respond to my emails. That was frustrating! I know that you may read this and think no big deal. But, I suggest for this type of $$$ that you keep looking because you will find a place that is better cared for and a manager who wants to serve the customer somewhere else.

Ideal location but ...

We booked this home for 7 nights for a family vacation with our children and grandchildren. While the location was ideal and the owner was mostly responsive when we reached out to her, there were a lot of areas that fell short of our expectations, particularly with the price we paid for the week. While we don't fault the owner or cleaning crew for the previous guests who left later than expected, we were shocked to find sand and hair in almost all of the beds. We don't know why changing the sheets wasn't a priority. The floors were also very dirty. The owner said she would send a cleaning crew on Sunday but only one person came, and we ended up helping her clean because we didn't want her there all day. We washed all the sheets and made all the beds ourselves. When we changed the sheets, we noticed how old and gross the mattresses and mattress protectors were. There were no extra paper products anywhere; for example, none of the bathrooms had extra toilet paper so we quickly ran out. The kitchen was poorly stocked. The house is big enough for 16 people but there were not enough pots, dishes, cups, or silverware. The coffee table in the living room had a big chunk out of the corner making it very sharp. It made us really nervous since it was in the middle of the living space and we had young kids with us. In two of the downstairs bedrooms, the sliding closet doors were unstable and hanging dangerously off the track. The front porch lights were completely out and was not fixed

This is an amazing location. Park, beach, restaurants and stores.

Walking distance to everything. Driving distance to even more. Padres game, meditation garden, the Herb & Sea, and Honeys + The Taco Stand. Perfect. House was great and prepared for your 11 adults and 7 children (10-2 yes) Highly recommend!

Awesome Location

Wonderful location close to the beach and super convenient to shopping and dining. Very responsive owner who let us check in early and delay (slightly) our check-out to deal with all the travel problems that Southwest Airlines caused this holiday season! For families with different age groups, there is a master suite on the same level as the kitchen/living/dining, and the other bedrooms are all downstairs. The bunk bed room is pretty tiny but would work for kids. There are multiple levels outside as well. Ample seating at the dining table for a large group and lots of room in the kitchen for multiple cooks to work simultaneously. Huge fridge and great Wolf range!
