"Liked the location - closeness to the beach and town - but could use a major upgrade to the many torn/damaged beach chairs and wagons in rough shape (one set of front wheels not attached). Cleanliness not up to standard for this location/price range - floors very dirty (not just from sand) - in need of a major scrubbing - probably need a strong power wash on the upper balcony! Other simple fixes - like a bin for storing beach toys vs just a big pile of them, fix closets/bath drain in lower...

"The casita was the perfect spot for our getaway to Vista. The place was clean and just as expected. There was even chocolate chip and walnut banana bread. The backyard is cute and we saw tons of hummingbirds. We were in town to go to the breweries in North County and this spot was perfectly located for that! It was a great stay. We shopped at Costco and Trader Joe's (both are close) for food and enjoyed grilling and eating outside every evening, which was wonderful.
