"Liked the location - closeness to the beach and town - but could use a major upgrade to the many torn/damaged beach chairs and wagons in rough shape (one set of front wheels not attached). Cleanliness not up to standard for this location/price range - floors very dirty (not just from sand) - in need of a major scrubbing - probably need a strong power wash on the upper balcony! Other simple fixes - like a bin for storing beach toys vs just a big pile of them, fix closets/bath drain in lower...

"The casita was very clean and well-supplied, including coffee. The bed was very comfortable, and the location is also very nice and quiet, which was great for sleeping. There are a few hummingbird and other bird feeders in the backyard, so there is a lot of bird activity. Couple this with the sound of the fountain, and it makes sitting outdoors very relaxing. We also got a chance to meet Nancy (the host), who is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to...

"Bungalow was small, but very clean and cozy. The bed/ mattress was really comfortable. We liked the location and shops nearby. Bungalow/ area was fairly welcoming for our pet. The on-sight manager was friendly and helpful."

"Loved spending time with the family & our dog at this cute home. The welcome wine & flowers were a nice touch as was having space to accommodate us so comfortably. Definitely enjoyed the convenient access to the beach, restaurants & cute stores. The home is a little older and although the train runs nearby, the noise wasn't an issue. The host sent lots of useful information and tips for the area. Would definitely consider staying here the next time we are in sunny Solana Beach!"
