The Sandlot -

Stay right on the beach! Nestled just steps from the Atlantic Ocean is this completely updated 8 Bedroom, 6 Bathroom cottage that sports incredible views, an oceanfront pool, hot tub, and spacious oceanfront trex deck.

The home is currently offered as a single family rental. Originally set up as duplex, a doorway INSIDE the home between the living rooms separates or connects the two sides. This allows you to enjoy and share your space, but also gives you the convenience and separation should you choose!
(TWO kitchens, TWO Living spaces!)

The layout includes two identical sides. This means there are two fully stocked kitchens (one on each side), and two family rooms (one on each side), with a doorway connecting the two sides that is accessible from inside the home.

The home was renovated in 2022 to include brand new kitchen cabinets and countertops, new floors through the home, new paint, and a brand new master bathroom on both East and West sides spring 2023. New decking and new roof! The home feels brand new.

Each master bedroom has a king bed, and its own, amazing, large private oceanfront covered balcony overlooking the pool and beach, with unobstructed views of the ocean. Each master bedroom has a brand new master bathroom put in the spring of 2023 with walk in shower, toilet, and single vanity.

Overall, EACH side hosts:

An OCEAN FRONT Master bedroom on the top floor, with private spacious balcony overlooking the pool and direct ocean views.
A second bedroom upstairs with two sets of twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total)
A third bedroom upstairs with queen bed.
A play area/ lounge room with daybed (floor space here will fit a standard size pack-n-play).
A first floor bedroom (with queen bed), convenient to the first floor bathroom and kitchen.

Totaling 8 bedrooms, 2 play/rec rooms, and 6 bathrooms.

Fully fenced in pool area for an added safety measure. You can walk right to the beach access without needed to enter the pool area. Great for young kids. Pool and hot tub are professionally cleaned and maintained 1-2x per week depending on season.

Pool can be heated for $650 per week, just let us know ahead of your stay if you'd like to add this! Custom pricing for shorter stays.

We do have beach chairs that our guests are welcome to use.

They rent pack-n-plays, strollers, high chairs, toys, and so much more! All professionally cleaned and sanitized, and delivered right to you at check in!

Beach Wedding

The home is beautiful and comfortable. Master suites have an incredible view! Spent a lot of time in the pool (heated) and hot tub. Plenty of room for everyone (10 adults) to live comfortably for 4 days. Kitchens were well equipped and plenty of bath towels provided.

Sandlot Stay

Overall my family and I had a nice stay. The house is nice right on The issues we experienced starting with the roaches. Upon arrival there was a dead roach behind the trash can on the wet side of the house. When I went to the east side to check out the bedrooms I killed another roach on the steps. We went out and came back to a roach on the kitchen counter. At this point we did not have any food. Of course when it rained, the huge water bugs came out. We had to wash some of the comforters as they were dirty and looked much better when they came out of the dryer. The beds sleep wonderfully. The sheets in bedroom on the first floor on the east side had a small spot of blood on it, and also on the white shower curtain. We washed the sheets, but did not wash the shower curtain. The furniture could really use cleaning as it is visibly dirty. I left the blue kitchen mitts out in both house as they are really dirty with some kind of red sauce on them. We did not cook anything with red sauce. I actually purchased clothes and cooking utensils to use. The cooking utensils are melted and look bad. The coffee pot was not cleaned, the filter was left from the previous tenants. It was full of molded grounds. Some of the towels are wash clothes are so dingy they look dirty. We went out and purchase wash clothes and towels to use. We did wash some of your wash clothes and towels and left them on the coffee table on the west side. There was no dishwasher detergent, nor enough tissue.

Great location

This property is amazing I would recommend all family’s to stay here! A very short walk to the beach which was amazing. The house also was very nice and clean. Dog friendly which made our whole vacation!

Awesome!

We really loved the Trex decking and vinyl on the decks. No slivers!!! Pool and hot tub was a bonus! The common areas were appropriate size for 8 people. Other than the master bedroom the other bedrooms were quite tiny. We made it work though. Also, expected the master bath to be bigger. All in all, we were pleased with the units.

Perfect for our large family

The kitchen was stocked very well with appliances, utensils etc for all our needs. The pool and beach proximity was wonderful!

Nice beachfront property

We loved the proximity to the ocean and having our own walkway to the beach along with the outdoor shower! The pool, hot tub & living areas were also nice. We did have a few maintenance and housekeeping issues. The air conditioning never worked on the first floor on one side of the home. The technician told us the issue but never came back to fix it. Luckily, the weather cooperated and we didn't really need it. Other than the two master suites, the bedrooms are very small. Both refrigerator doors didn't seal well and we had to push boxes against one of them to make sure the door stayed closed. Two of the beds were not freshly made. One had dirty sheets and sand and the other had a musty blanket on it. They came out to bring fresh sheets. Other than these few things we had a nice trip.

Best weekend of our lives

We can’t thank Aaron and Stephanie enough. This was the perfect house with perfect views for our intimate wedding weekend. We called twice due to needing maintenance and Aaron picked right up and communicated so well about when they’d be there. This was our first big “group” vacation and everything was beyond perfect and we’re already looking at dates for next summer to stay again.

Beautiful home kid friendly

The home was very clean , and just steps from the beach , the heated pool and Hottub was awesome! The only thing I would suggest is that you bring dish towels and maybe a few bath towels and rags, there wasn’t many of those. But we had an amazing week and would definitely go back!

Awesome Beach House!

This was the perfect place for our family! We used the decks, pool and beach access every day. Having two kitchens was ideal since we have a family member with an extreme food allergy. Beautiful location and we enjoyed awesome sunrises and sunsets throughout the week.

Location is Great!

We loved the location. Being right on the beach and having access to our own pool was definitely the key. The duplex was really great for the group we went with. A couple issues stemmed around empty propane tanks, although they came quickly to replenish just one of the 3, the cleaning needs work. Tons of dust and even bugs in one of the bunk beds (silver fish). We wished there were umbrellas at the pool for some reprieve from the sun. I tried calling one of the owners to talk about this, left a message with no response. Overall we really did have a great time there.

Wonderful family vacation week, beautiful ocean views! Our grandchildren not only enjoyed the beach, but the pool as well. This was our 2nd year in a row staying at this beach cottage, we are planning on returning next year!

So great!

We headed to Emerald Isle Beach for the first time Memorial weekend. Found the Sandlot and fell in love. The house is awesome. Duplex thats been totally updated and has a door connecting family rooms. Private and direct beach access, amazing decks, tons of parking, a pool and all very well equipped. Its changed our whole search criteria for any place we go. The managers/owners were very easy to deal with and the check in/out was about the easiest we've ever experienced. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Sun, Sand, and Surf

Thank you, Stephanie, for a wonderful vacation in your beach home. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the fantastic communication, your generous hospitality, and the well appointed (and extremely comfortable) accommodations. The heated pool was worth every penny, the hot tub was a huge hit, the rocking chairs were loved by all, the gates were certainly appreciated with a toddler, and the proximity of the beach couldn’t have been any better! We hope to return again soon 😊

Fantastic!

Great location. Owners quickly responded to one small requirement. Beautifully updated, good space to spread out. Beds super comfortable. Water pressure in showers could be better. Grill needs some attention. But kitchens were well equipped. Can’t get any closer to the beach. Hot tub was amazing. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful home!

Our family has rented a beach home every summer for many years. This was the best yet! It felt like home for our growing extended family. It was super clean when we arrived and even had some necessities that most homes don’t provide (hand soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), so we didn’t need to run out asap to purchase them. The pool was great for the children when we weren’t on the beach. Overall an excellent stay and we hope to book again soon!

Making Memories

The beachfront location and the property having a pool was perfect with 4 grandchildren 5 and under. The layout of the house worked well. And the two kitchens came in handy as we mainly took turns cooking meal. We had a couple minor issues that were taken care of very promptly!
