The views are spectacular, and we spent our time enjoying the wildlife and the natural beauty; as musicians and an artist, we left with a half written song, and a portrait of the beautiful gray fox that enjoyed our music for over 30 minutes, before moving on. . The hosts are very accommodating and the customer service was excellent, thank you for a memorable stay. "

"The house is absolutely perfect. It was clean and very comfortable. We met the owner and he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. But my favorite part of this rental is the view from the deck and from the hot tub. I definitely recommend staying at this property. "

"Great experience at HazelBrook Haven! Perfect combination of feeling like we were out in the middle of nowhere and yet within a reasonable drive of civilization! "Despite a couple of issues "Homeplace" was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I am a veteran so I have been to a number of locations. Becky answered my texts promptly. More importantly I had some difficulty locating the home. I didn't realize I was only a few blocks away. Becky answered my call and gave the directions to the house. I couldn't have found a better place to stay nor a better host. I certainly hope if I ever go to the area again this place is available. The home...

"Jody and Darby were very friendly and welcoming! I was here for a month and would absolutely recommend it for someone staying in the area. I would recommend a car with either AWD or a high clearance. I would also recommend bringing an instapot, air fryer, or hot pot if you plan on cooking food here"

"Really liked the old house feel but very noisy by road"

"The home and linens were clean, plenty of living space. The house is like walking into a time capsule of your grandmothers home. Very small bathrooms, drafty window AC units still installed in late November, old TVs. No grill outside was disappointing. Tight single stacked parking. There is another small house on the same lot with multiple vehicles coming and going, combined with the close neighbors and there is limited privacy and no outdoor space."
