"Very clean and nice lodging. Owners were great at communicating. Perfect base camp for anyone wanting to explore the valley and glacier. Only criticism would be that the tv in bedroom was not functioning. Not a big deal, would definitely stay again. "

"Wonderfully peaceful, comfortable cabin. We felt isolated, but there are stores are just a few miles down the road when we needed something. Wished we had experienced viewing wildlife in the yard, but we were out exploring and maybe didn't spend enough time relaxing and enjoying the property. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! Haley was so easy to communicate with for directions to the property, check-in, and suggestions for fun things to do in the area. The cabin was ready when we arrived, and stocked with coffee, creamer, and other kitchen and bath essentials. We spent our time in the area taking tours to Katmai and to Hatcher's Pass. With being so busy, we extra appreciated the incredibly comfortable bed! I wish we had more time to spend out on the lake behind the cabin...

"This house was exactly as advertised. The master with the en suite was fabulous. Access to a washer and dryer was absolutely key. Kitchen was fully stocked equipment wise with a ninja blender, toaster etc. (No air fryer - that would have been an extra bonus). Minor issues: - drawers sticking in fridge and freezer - shampoo and conditioner provided was a great perk, I just wish it was slightly higher quality (dove or Pantene prov would be a step up). We would love to come back!!"

"The location is excellent: close enough to downtown Anchorage but far enough away to be on the edge between suburban and rural. The bedrooms are small, but the large beds are more appreciated than more floor space would be! The kitchen, dining area, and living room are well-apportioned and comfortable. Shauna and Kirk were very accommodating and responsive to messages."

"Had a birthday steam bath for my mom, joined by my sister and aunt. Roomy for all of us, and my tall sister and aunt were happy to be able to stand in the porch and steam. Definitely going back."

"Amazing stay at an incredible location on Big Lake! 'Hidden gem' as a description fits this place 100%. Lovely vintage trailer, well equipped. Top notch water from private well. Comfortable outhouse with optional view on the lake. Last but not least: very warm and friendly hosts :-)"

"This house is a home rather than just a house and we felt right at home in it. It was very well appointed with comfy beds, sofas and everything we needed plus loads more. The location was great, close to everything like shops restaurants etc but quiet enough to be peaceful and relaxing and dark enough to witness the northern lights (which i did). Good communication with the owner through the stay, would recommend."

"The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of provided items for our needs in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. The setting was rustic and comfortable and the WiFi worked great for the little time we were there. You are a short 5 miles from several chain and local restaurants, a Walmart and several other stores. It’s about an hour from the Anchorage airport and around a three hour drive to Denali National Park. So a great spot to come back to after a day of exploring. The communication was...
