"Trefor the manager was great. Very helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was bright and clean. The facilities were great. The bed was comfortable. The bar and restaurant were nice and I enjoyed the live music and quiz night."

"I received a lovely welcome despite my late arrival The room was lovely and clean and quiet. As a woman travelling on my own I felt very safe and well looked after. Breakfast was really lovely. I hope to return and hopefully have tome for dinner next time! "

"A wonderful stay with all amenities catered for. A word of complaint, bath/shower facility should have non slip bath mat as climbing out of the bath over the rim it was easy to lose your footing of your remaining leg as you lurch forward. 😢 One suggestion, hand dryers in the WC facilities should ideally be with the latest technology high speed, pressure type. Maybe Dyson type or design. 😅 Otherwise a perfect stay with great food and services. Liked the complimentary quality tea and coffee...

"Last minute booking. Dog friendly inn. Paid £20 extra for the dog for 1 night. Nice room, restaurant has very good food. Breakfast was very good as well. Very friendly staff."

"It was clean. The tea and coffee was plentiful. The room was very hot but the night temperature was quite high being summer. The breakfast was extremely good value."

"Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good. "We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating."

"The hotel is ideally situated at the edge of the New Forest. The staff - especially the manager - were very helpful and nice. The room had been freshly renovated and was spacious, great towels, nice bathroom and nice view onto the landscape. We also had dinner there and it was really delicious. "
