"I booked this to visit my son at Western and start taking some of his things home for the summer. When my parents saw the listing they decided to join me so they got to see their Grandson's campus and meet his friends while staying at a quiet, clean location. LOVED THE FLOWERS and all the plants - just gorgeous. "

"Great place. Will be even better when carpet and furniture are updated. Might be better for a long stay than a single overnight. Having to strip bed and start laundry is maybe for a longer stay. "

"Absolutely loved staying here and would stay again! The view of the water is so calming- we looked for wildlife and saw a crane eating. We read in the nook overlooking the water. We walked along the beach. The place has pictures of the parents who had owned the home and gives it a sweet feel. Highly recommend!"

"Everything from checking in to checking out was great. So many touches of a warm home to make my daughter and I feel like we were wrapped in a warm blanket. So many details from beach towels, to hot chocolate, to a popcorn maker and a book of great things to do in the area. Kitchen and bathroom were super clean with awesome shampoo. The view was top-notch. Location is close to everything but just far enough way to feel like you are in the woods. Covered parking was a plus. Will stay there...

"The rental was awesome! Definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach you could walk on and that it was a very short drive to La Conner. A few things that would’ve made it a little better: we cooked dinner and breakfast at the rental and the pots/pans were very old and stained. "This was perfect for our anniversary trip! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend with our pups. Paddle boarding was too fun and the hot tub was such a treat. There was enough space for dog crates so our dogs had a familiar place to settle. We loved our walks around the lake and lounging on the deck. It's a cute space, but not quite what we expected from the description.
