"Exactly as advertised - the host was lovely and gave us recommendations of where to go and where to eat, the breakfast was excellent and room very comfortable (clean, tidy, nicely presented, etc.). We had a great time!"

"It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites. The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen. Will definitely come again."

"We loved the colourful, quirky decor and the fantastic food. It's very convenient for Bingham station and Bingham is a good base for exploring the Vale of Belvoir. Very relaxing and friendly. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - really nice people. The room was really pretty and well appointed with kettle etc."

"After mentioning an issue with the room first allocated to us upon check-in, we were directed to another room, it was excellent… very spacious, view of the river, very clean and lovely bathroom. We had an excellent night sleep in a huge king size bed, it was lovely and quiet especially after closing time. Looking back at what time we checked in, we could’ve timed it better because it was in the middle of food service in the restaurant and it was very busy, so there was a bit of a wait to check...

"Convenient location and clean. Easy checkin with the key available from pub across the road. Had unusual single cup kettle and coffee maker and good selection of teas and coffees. Lights and bathroom tap were on timing sensors and both were a bit annoying particularly the tap when you were trying to fill a jug for the kettle. Bedclothing was a bit tired and there were only 2 fairly flat pillows on a standard size double bed. The thing I really didn’t like though was the musty smell of bedding...

"The apartment did what it said on the tin. Spacious, clean, good facilities and comfortable. The checking-in procedure is a bit convoluted and needs fine-tuning but it didn't detract for our stay."

"Another great 2 night stay at this lovely hotel and we were lucky enough to get the same room again which we love. The only downside is that it was very warm and with no air conditioning we had to leave the window open overnight and would prefer to have a fan supplied."

"There was some confusion regarding the “breakfasts included” part of my booking on arrival. Reception paperwork indicated “room only”. I was asked to provide evidence and it was only due to me forwarding a screenshot to my partner showing bed & breakfast included, that fortunately I was believed. We had to change rooms due to a damp, musty odour in the initial room but were offered an alternative, which was much better. Highly recommend the Gluten Free options at breakfast. "31 Castle Gate gave us a very clean and comfortable 2 night stay . Private and quiet accommodation clear instruction re parking facilities. Easy access to shops, cafe and relaxing meal/ drink in the evening sat by the canal. Initial access wasn't granted by the code given but a very quickly answered call gave us access for the stay. Thank you to Daniel - very helpful and he also checked in with us to make sure access was ok . Would use the accommodation again . "
