"A basic but clean hotel that was perfectly located for the area of Sheffield I was visiting. Rooms are relatively small but for one/two nights are fine, hotel staff are friendly and helpful and it is excellent value. Don't expect ultra luxury or lots of facilities but would definitely use again. "

"Hotel a little dated but nothing awful, was expected as closing for refit soon. Breakfast wasn’t the best. But was cheap enough not to be fussed. Have stayed in newer and better hotels in Sheffield but did job. Look forward to seeing what happens when it reopens. "

"Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. I’ll be back 😂"

"Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "
