"We needed a place for our annual family 4th of July celebration. The beach and swimming was amazing! The yard allowed room for our annual family games. The house was supplied with everything we could possibiy need. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful when we had an issue with the dock. Definitely recommend staying here. The neighbors were friendly too! "

"This place was beautiful! We will definitely be back!! We stayed in the octagon and had an amazing time. The owners were great to work with. We ran into bad weather on our way up there and communicated that to them and they arranged a way for us to get the key. Will be back!! Def for a longer stay!"

"Our family: mom, dad and 4 grown children-2 with spouses, met here to celebrate a late Christmas. There were 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and living room large enough for all of us to play games in. Also, it was dog friendly so we could include our pets in the gathering. The owner used a snowmobile to mark hiking trails which was a great afternoon activity."

"It is an old cabin/house that is a bit run down. Our biggest issue was the super intense musty smell. We were also disappointed with the quality of the bedding and towels (which only 2 were left for our group of 4). It's a really steep price tag for a property like this and I would never use the word serene to describe it. The owners were easy to work with, but we were glad we only had to be there to sleep. The fridge was also dirty and the owners left some of their stuff in there which added to...

"We had an amazing experience renting the tree lodge at the Shire in the Woods. Michael was very helpful and easy to communicate with. They took Covid precautions and the cabin was exceptionally clean. We had an amazing time, saw a baby black bear alongside the road and a lot of wildlife. We had fun making a bonfire and grilling outside and listening to all the sounds of nature. We are already planning our next trip back."

"We really enjoyed the cabin. After the kids shock that there was no tv, we got the chance to do puzzles, play board games, read books and spend a lot of time fishing on the dock. The house is very quiet and large enough for everyone to enjoy themselves. It was a little cold the first day we were there but then warmed up and we got to enjoy all the lake toys. "
