Cute house in a quiet neighborhood with view of a pond and great outside space. We had five adults and the house was a great size (it seemed a little more spacious than the pictures made it appear). Small note that the inside dinner table only sat four adults comfortably but we made it work. Each bedroom had a ceiling fan, as did the living room to help keep air moving with no AC. Kitchen had all of the basics. The house is within walking distance to a pond that had a beach with swimming access (although it was closed for swimming while we were visiting). No fishing is permitted from the shore of the pond. Easy access to a lot of activities on the cape - we enjoyed bike trails, the beaches, and the ferry to the islands. Would absolutely rent again!

Peaceful weekend!

We enjoyed relaxing on back porch listening to the birds in the morning and the quiet nights so very peaceful! Our host was great to give us recommendations for the area. Since it was our first time in Cape, it made things a little easier in deciding where to eat and places to visit. Thanks again!!

Beautiful home - NO A/C

Beautiful house. Great porch with a great view. The only negatives are that there is no A/C so it gets hot in the summer and the kitchen/bathrooms are not updated.

Cute Cape Cottage

We enjoyed the property overall. The decor and furniture were great and everything was clean. The challenges that we ran into were the unexpected extra necessities like king size pillows with no cases, needing to bring our own kitchen and hand towels (we only brought bathing and beach towels), and buying our own toilet paper/ paper towels to replace used items.

Ideal vacation rental, very comfortable, will come again.

This lovely house is spacious and beautifully decorated with lots of comfy furniture to sprawl out on, lots of interesting things to catch the eye, and lots of light and air. The kitchen is fully appointed which was important to us. The three themed bedrooms are all unique, we picked the pink room and were very comfortable in there, with ample outlets for CPAP and device charging. The view of the lake from the deck was a real treat. We didn't mind having to bring our own sheets and towels because TBH we usually do that anyway. We had a couple of requests and Chris was very accommodating. Now that we found this place we plan to come back again!

Lovely Home in East Falmouth

What a nice place to stay, the neighborhood is quiet, lovely views of the lake through the trees. Close to shops and plenty of places to go an see. Quick trip over to Martha's Vineyard, so glad we got the ferry on the last weekend it was running. Overall such a warm inviting home, so glad to have choose this location over others. Just what we needed to a long weekend away in the fall. Hosts were very accomodating.

Great stay

This was a wonderful property to stay at. Located in a very nice neighborhood, yet secluded from the neighbors. We were able to get everywhere on the Cape easily. The one thing that is terribly inconvenient is that sheets and towels are not provided, so if you are traveling by plane… be aware. Thanks for a great stay Chris!

Best of both worlds lake/ocean

If you love spending time on a lake but need to be close to the ocean this house is for you! Lake access is within walking distance and house has kayaks for use. Beach is a 15 minute drive. Spacious inside and very clean. Truly a home away from home. Hoping to return in the near future.

The owners were very receptive when called and handled any concern quickly. The property is off the beaten track but easily accessible to all areas. One drawback is no air conditioner and 2 of the 3 fans provided did not work; if no breeze at night, it does get uncomfortably hot. Nice place to stay in cooler weather

Charming lake house!

Beautiful Home, Great Location

Chris was a wonderful and accommodating host, whose presence was only ever felt when necessary. The location of the home is quite nice and I imagine would be even better in the warmer months (we visited in the winter and STILL enjoyed ourselves greatly). Beds are comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and the heat works better than expected. I highly recommend the home.

An absolute gem!

I highly recommend this beautiful property. The house is cozy and was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the private pond and enjoyed swimming and kayaking. It’s a little slice of paradise. We sat around the fire pit in the evening and made s’mores. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. While there isn’t AC, the weather wasn’t too hot so it wasn’t an issue. On the hottest day of our trip it was definitely a little stuffy, but we made do with using the fans and opening all the windows. The owner was very responsive and everything ran smoothly. This is a perfect Cape Cod getaway.

Hidden gem!

First, I would like to thank the owner for being so responsive and accommodating. The house is really nice, comfortable and is set back from the road, thus affording a lot of privacy. The home is spacious, the kitchen has a gas stove, dishes, pots and pans, silverware and plenty of glasses. There is a nice washer and dryer in the basement, which is very convenient for keeping up with clothes and towels after beach visits and kayaking. A beautiful lake is located right across the street and is private (for use by property owners and guests). We enjoyed kayaking during our stay; sitting on the spacious deck during the cool, breezy evenings; and, used the firepit to make Smores one night. All said, everyone had a great stay and we look forward to our next one.

The house was great

The fans worked well. There was a king in the downstairs bedroom and it said queen so we had wrong size sheets but made it work. If you wanted access to beach, it is difficult unless you know people who can get to beaches in Mashpee and Falmouth. Parking would be a problem. Great location if have friends or not just looking to go to beach. Owner is great when I had a question which needed immediate response.
