"Booked twin bedded room. Allocated room 35. Room had recently been refurbished. Excellent. Despite a wedding being held there it was quiet and restful. Self service cooked breakfast in morning was very good and staff were constantly on hand to top up on anything. Good choice of different foods. Would stay again in room 35 and any other refurbished rooms. Cannot judge any other rooms. Staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. "Lovely spot with fabulous views over the valley. Tucked away in a small hilltop hamlet. Clean, comfortable & practical room. Only had breakfast which was excellent. Very friendly welcoming staff. "

"The property was very well kept and I was greeted warmly upon arrival. My room was a great size and well furnished, with a sizable bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and they were able to cater for gluten free. "

"A 1-night stay while our daughter moved into her university accommodation. We have stayed here before. Only a 10 minute walk into the centre. We knew from a previous visit that you have to get a parking space early, so we did, and then checked in later. Very helpful, friendly staff. "

"The property is surrounded by nature, the garden is very beautiful, and the area is very quiet. The staff was very helpful and nice. There is a nearby pub for dining, and the property offers breakfast. The breakfast options include hot drinks, cereals, eggs, cheese, ham, bread and pastries. The room is very clean and beautifully furnished.Very convenient to get to Bath but I wish I spent more time in the area around the hotel!"
