"Family room 22. Pros- lots of free parking, able to eat dinner and breakfast if needed, nice sized family room, good shower. Cons- uncomfortable bed really needs new matteress, sofa bed needs replacing not at all comfortable. Staff noisey in the mornings in private room opposite. "

"I was pleasantly surprised when i arrived at this hotel. Iit overlooked the river Avon, and we could see a little waterfall from our window. The mill wheels was working just outside the dining room window. It would be lovely in the summer. The only downside was the choice for breakfast. However you get what you pay for and as a really cheap hotel it exceeded expectations and when next i go to Bath i will stay there. As a bonus it also has a toll road running into Bath which cost £1.20p cash...

"The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough. "The location of this hotel is GREAT. Everything is walkable. We selected a rate offered on Expedia that included valet parking(convenience) and buffet breakfast (excellent). We booked “premium king” which is NOT a Canadian or American King size bed. It is more like a queen. I learned that you really need to book a TWIN bed room. Then ask them to “zip” the 2 twin beds together. Also be careful when you check out, we had prepaid on Expedia (3 months prior when I booked) but the booking didn’t show...

It’s roughly a 200 year old house, so expect a few rough corners. It was exactly what we wanted. Key pad self check in had me double thinking our stay but it worked flawlessly "
