"Our family stayed two nights while visiting Bristol for the NHRA races and found the location peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, but we ate out for our meals. The property does have WiFi and streaming services which was nice. The deck and screened in porch is lovely as well. The house is older but well maintained. "

"Cabin was very nice and clean as described. There was plenty of outdoor activities but also clod to places to go out to eat. We had a fun and relaxing getaway. Would highly recommend this place. "

"This was such a cozy retreat for us. A glimpse back in time. Wonderful hosts with good communication. House was very clean and interesting. Beds comfortable and lots of blankets and linens. We just needed some extra sleeping space for our near by family Thanksgiving, but we ended up getting so much more!"

"I could live here! Quiet, beautiful. You can walk through the grass with no shoes. The river is wonderful. The girls (ages 5, 4 and 2) loved it. They said it is perfect, and they were never leaving. The guys had great fun fishing (ages 36, 12 and 12). I think the 12 yr olds caught the most. The home is nice, clean, and well furnished, kid and pet friendly. My daughter enjoyed sitting on the covered deck crocheting while watching the kids play in the rain. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of no...

"We stayed here as my son was getting married. It accommodated our entire family. It was clean and the owner stayed in touch with us the entire trip to make sure we had everything we needed. It was comfortable and conveniently located to Kingsport downtown area. We plan on staying again if we are ever in the area. "

"What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me. He LOVED it and so did I!!!The owners took care to think of everything when renovating this house. From being able to make our fresh coffee from the provided supplies to the fabulous shower I wish I had at home — everything was perfect! We look...
