"The property is a gem and great choice for our stay in the Speyside area. Parking is available right across the street, and the hotel is within 10-15 mins drive from a number of distilleries and the Speyside cooperage. "Outstanding!! I felt completely taken care of there. My food allergies usually throw a wrench into things, but Colin and Sarah put a lot of effort into making sure I had as many wonderful dishes as everyone else. "We stayed three nights at the Hotel Square in Tomintoul. Although this is an older facility which could use a few updates to rugs, curtains, etc., we were very happy there. The hotel is clean, beds are super comfortable and the rooms are large and supplied with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good! Most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service. We had a lovely stay!"

"I have been travelling for 2 weeks and this is, by far, the best accommodations i have had. The room was very clean, well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were awesome. The restaurant was good value. Breakfast was the best! Great server and excellent food to start your day. The guy at reception was friendly, clear on explaining the hotel amenities and helpful. Just an excellent experience there all around."

"I did a last minute booking, and it was a good choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The bed was softer than I am used to, but I slept well. The shower took a couple of minutes to get hot, but once it did, it was nice. I had supper there, and it was very good, as was the made-to-order breakfast. There is a nice lounge area to sit and have a drink. Spey Beach was a short drive away, and was a nice “pebble” beach walk. "
