"Bonita1 is not only aesthetically pleasing, but furnished in a way that made it functional, too. There were thoughtful details such as lighted makeup mirror and motion sensing nightlights that could be adjusted. The mattress was good quality and very comfortable for us. It might be considered a little firm for some. Prior to booking, I was told that the parking would be under an awning, which was not the case. "We enjoyed being in the middle of nature, right next to a pond, that is connected to Rodemacher Lake. In the evening and night the frogs were singing their orchestra, and you wake up with birds singing. If you like this, then this is your place. If you don't like bugs, then this might be challenging. The cabin is equipped with all you need. It is a little outdated, but that fits the location."

"The host was very responsive during booking and upon arrival. I had an issue with A/C and he addressed it quickly. However…..There are a bunch of little things that detract from the experience of the stay:* No chest of drawers. * Scuffed walls and baseboards that need paint * A VERY RUSTY shower curtain (C’monnnnn…!)* Used dry cleaner hangars* Towels that have seen better days* A COMPLETELY FILTHY mattress cover!I think all this can be achieved for /- 500. Do that and you’ll get your 5-Star...
