"We had a great time at the place! It was very comfortable and accommodating. We did have a couple of things we think we should point out that could be better. The lack of light on the side of the house where the stairs were was a little rough. It made it hard to see in the evening. Second, the balcony rails were a little shaky. I think they may need to be secured a little better. Everything else was perfect! "

"Heron' Cove is a great location with plenty of room for our family group of eight adults and four children under 10. We were in VA for our Son's wedding in Mineral, VA. The layout was perfect for our needs. We are already talking about a return trip. Fully equip kitchen (w/two refrigerators) made meals a breeze. "The property was in a great location to the places we needed to be. We were disappointed that there was 1 bath towel, no wash clothes and two hand towels for our use. The listing stated two bedrooms, it was one bedroom with a pull out sofa however stated the unit slept 5. There were no sharp knives in the unit. I normally carry a ton of items and have gotten out of the habit as these are things that should be standard items in the units. "

"Such a nice spot! The inside was perfectly fine, but the outdoor space is truly the highlight. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you need for water adventures—kayaks, paddle boards, a pedal boat, plus life jackets for all ages. It’s a peaceful, quiet location with a fantastic outdoor area that made our stay really enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and have fun on the water!"

"An amazing home in a fantastic location. We used this home for a company offsite/retreat. It was prefect. Very private, enormous lot, with huge lake front area. Great boat dock, beach and fire pit area. The house was so large I don't think we got to use parts of it, but there is something in this house for everyone. The host was super communicative and we had a great time."

"We had such a wonderful stay at this lake house on Lake Anna! Andy (the owner) and Susan (the manager) were incredibly responsive and accommodating, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be renting again in the future!"
