"A quick stop-over so didn’t use the restaurant, but was all set up for breakfast when I left and looked great. Hotel room had tea, coffee, etc and all was clean and well-presented. Hotel receptionist was welcoming, friendly and informative. Would stay again."

"Loved the service in the greenhouse room where we had a 70th birthday party. Terrible service during the day in the bar, when we sat on the patio for a few hours. Only one bloke on his own who didn't cope well. Bar closed early at night time. Would expect it to stay open longer for residents on a Saturday night. "

"When checking in at 7pm on the Saturday night the man who greeted us at the desk was very polite and made us feel at ease. He explained everything in great detail and couldnt do enough to help, for example when we asked he gave us extra towels and tea ect. Would 100000% stay again"

"We have stayed here previously for a festival and found the food really tasty with incredibly generous portions, lovely friendly staff and nice rooms for a great price which was the reason we chose again this year. Unfortunately, we are not sure if we can stay again next year as hoped as the price has jumped up by almost £100 for the same weekend."

"Stayed here a few times before and it's very convenient for New Street, the city centre and with secure parking in the nearby Mailbox. It's basic but comfortable bed. The nearby Grand Central Kitchen is great for breakfast!"

"Hotel was comfortable with lovely country views and a good buffet breakfast. Unfortunately there was no hot water when we arrived (around 7.30pm) so had cold showers. Otherwise happy with our visit. "

"I think it needs to be clear that the hotel car parking is an additional fee each night of stay. The heating was broken on the first night so the room was freezing but quickly repaired the next morning "
