"The hotel itself was beautiful, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. However, we did encounter a slight issue at the Garden Lei restaurant. "Booked a corner room for a week, because I like it as I saw it on YT. Was upgraded to bigger room, with separated living room, but asked to have the corner room. I really like the corner room and I think it was the right decision to choose this one. The room is super nice with a good view on Beijing (view on the Peninsula Hotel). "The hotel is in a very convenient location whereby it is near a metro station and shopping area, with lots of food options as well. When we checked out, it was drizzling and the receptionist directed the taxi to the hotel and sheltered us with an umbrella to the taxi, exceptional service.
