"My stay at The Mercantile was extraordinary! The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive to my requests! For example, I had some flowers set up in my room and they set up a quick solution to accommodate with a vase. My room was clean and perfect for a 3 night stay. Additionally, the location and convenience cannot be understated. I will be staying here again and every time when visiting Dublin. "I literally happened upon this property in a beautiful coastal suburb, Malahide, right outside of Dublin. I had never heard of Malahide, but a lovely Irish woman suggested I stay at the Grand Hotel for my last night in Dublin. It was a fantastic tip. The hotel gave me the peacefulness and calm I needed before my flight home to Los Angeles. The village it is in is just beautiful with tons of restaurants and the famous Gibney's bar. "We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent and served in a very nice area. We had to be at the airport early on our last day in Ireland - which I mentioned in passing to the front desk -...

"Great hotel very close to Dublin airport with free shuttle bus. Just make sure you don’t make the mistake I did and get on the Clayton hotel bus which leaves from the same bus stand. The hotel was very comfortable and extremely quiet for an airport location."

"The rooms are out dated. We were in a ground floor room with bars outside the window reminiscent of a prison. There was no AC however they did provide a fan. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving the windows open at night. The access to the parking garage is extremely narrow and many rental cars have been scratched and damaged on the narrow walls. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was good."
