"We loved our stay. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite on the private beach side and it was so amazing! We didn't want to leave. We sat on the patio and the beach bed and enjoyed the view most of the day. The only drawback would have been being on the public beach. We drove on the side we would have stayed had we not been upgraded. There were vehicles that appeared to have people living in them right up against the property fence. We may have had a different review had we stayed on that...

"Walk around the building and you're on Dog Beach, Ocean Beach. You can't get a closer location. Perfect if you're bringing your friends to stay the day at the beach. Dog Beach is an off leash Beach so they can run and have fun hanging with 400 of their closest friends. This hotel is old, built in 1960. They keep it up for the most part. Employees are exceptional, always there to help. It's rated at 2 stars, which must not take into consideration the location. We used to stay down at a cove....

"The Wayfarer Hotel and staff provided an absolutely incredible stay. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet with an amazing view of the ocean. The pool area provided a heated pool, hot tub, firepit, sunbeds and a nice size TV. Easy access to the beach, with a wide variety of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Beach chairs and bikes are available at reasonable fees. Much gratitude to Blais and Team for an outstanding experience at the Wayfarer. Already looking forward to my next...

"We were a group of 10 (ages18 to 75) and we all felt comfortable with plenty of space to relax. The entire space was CLEAN, inside and out! The bedrooms and bathrooms were a great size with all the linens and towels needed. The wall bunk beds were comfortable too. The enclosed patio with furniture and an outdoor rug was perfect to hang out in. The kitchen was well equipped and grocery delivery service was excellent!!! Parking was enclosed and we felt safe. We had an extra large SUV and...
