"Gorgeous George was the best property we stayed in on our five week stay in Africa. The hotel is unique in presentation and design; the staff were extremely helpful; the room was made up early each day, and consistently; and the rooftop bar served excellent food and had a lovely atmosphere and unique decor. "This was an absolutely fantastic location for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our apartment was well appointed with a view of Table Mountain that can’t be beat. We were able to walk to many places during the day. We didn’t walk after dark, but getting an Uber in the evening was simple and inexpensive. We were very comfortable during our stay, and alternated between fixing our own breakfast in the room and eating at the excellent restaurant. Highly recommend this property!"

"I could not comment about the room of the hostel itself much, as I was lucky enough to have an upgrade to the apartment nearby, which was superb with large bed, big kitchen and roof top swimming pool. Very friendly hostel reception staff. Luggage storage was available before check in. Amazing breakfast in Side Bar of the hostel."
