"When I came into the hotel and was given my room key, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dampness in the room. The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower. "Staff were lovely and happy to help. We got a free upgrade to a harbour view rooms Rooms were spacious. Quiet room. Bathroom was new but room was slightly outdated and had stains on the carpet. Overlap a good stay. "

"Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."

"The property is in the middle of town so very convenient for a look around the following day. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us in the room (69 year olds). The beds were comfy and clean as was the bathroom. The decor was a little sad in the rooms but the comfort and price more than met expectations. My biggest concern was that we were put in the 2nd floor, with no lift and I have big mobility problems and struggled to get up and down the stairs. When asked if there was a similar room on...

"The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. "
