The Grand On Macfie
"This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth."

Beachway Motel & Restaurant
"The room was ok. Good size but the bathroom was poorly designed and it was difficult to move around in their all. The staff at the check in was rude and pushing for answers about whether we would be eating at the restaurant and we had just arrived in the town. We had no real chance to consider that ..."

"Nice location, very clean, great hot shower, adequately equipped kitchen and good heating. Lounge furniture a little sparse and uncomfortable. The only issue was the bed. While clean and in good condition, but the mattress far too soft for us. Didn’t sleep at all well, woke with back ache."
