"We travelled during the off-season in October, and upon arrival on Tuesday, we were informed that the restaurant was only open Thursday through Sunday, meaning breakfast was not available on Wednesday morning. Finding breakfast nearby proved challenging, as most places in the area were also closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The room was decent, and the beds were comfortable. However, I was surprised that there was not a single nightstand in the room, which made things inconvenient, especially...

"Restaurant on premises was very good."

"I don't know the surrounding circumstances, but check in is DIFFICULT. There is no breakfast included. There is nothing special or fancy at all about the room. Wifi did not work. The mattress is low in the middle. We were a bit "under-whelmed" but it was sufficient and clean."

"A no frills property. It is clean and comfortable. I chose it because it is and old still motel, where you can park your car right at the door to your room. This is important to me because of my age and very limited mobility. The only negative thing I would say is that the bathroom sink is very small and difficult to deal with."

"Non smoking room smelled like marijuana. Roaches crawling out of smoke detector on ceiling. Trash in stairway."

"Good and affordable for one night stay."

"More of a Motel 6 than a Delux room."

"My three star rating represents a good deal for a one night stay… The property was clean… But in serious need of some updating. Everything was in good working order in the room and in the lobby area. I would definitely stay again as I’m passing through that area."

"The best thing about this place is Doug the front desk clerk. He was so friendly and helpful. He is truly an asset! Excellent customer service!! It's also nice that the location is attached to a Mexican restaurant. The property itself really needs to be cleaned and updated. I would not stay here again, but for the price it was a place to put our head for the night."

"We loved our stay at the Benjamin Hotel. Our room was beautiful, perfectly clean, very modern and comfortable. We had the Studio King room and had plenty of space to spread out. It includes a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, coffee maker, sink and plenty of counter space. It is located on the main Street in Watkins Glen which means it gets very noisy. We were busy during our days there so we did not mind, but we had to use ear plugs at night. We loved the location and walked...

"I came to Corning for the wineglass marathon and literally this hotel was the only place I could find close enough to the finish line that accommodated a one night stay in such short notice booking. Doug and Sheila were the most helpful with several situations including helping me call around for a taxi so get me to the expo to pick up my marathon bib. They were so patient, gave suggestions for things I was asking/looking for like breakfast before the marathon; chatted with me about my...

"This was a great old mansion that has been restored. Jen was a wonderful host. She gave good suggestions for things to do in the area. She also served a wonderful breakfast each morning. There was plenty of coffee in the upstairs guest kitchen as well as tasty homemade treats. It was quiet and that was nice. You should be aware that since this is an old house, there is no elevator and all the guest rooms are on the second floor. There's also lots of stairs from the house to your car. ...

"Everything was good. I wish the TV reception would’ve been better. I feel bad for people that don’t have any kind of Roku account because they won’t be able to watch TV."

"You'll love it. The host is great and oh so friendly."

"Was never able to get our room!!!!"
