"The property needs updating for sure, including the old stained carpeting. The room and linens were clean, and we had what we needed. We didn't spend much time in the room with so much to see. However, the hotel had coffee and tea available im the lobby 24/7 but they charged for hot water and of course the coffee. The staff were not overly helpful nor friendly, and many didn't speak English. We had paid for the breakfast which was quite good. There was alway fresh croissants and buns, and...

"Overall, the experience was good, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The hotel itself has an older charm and was generally comfortable for our stay. However, the housekeeping service was inconsistent, and the cleaning staff did not always meet expectations. Customer service was also somewhat frustrating at times. "Excellent location! Like that it’s nestled away from the noise of Rembrandt Square. Staff was helpful in getting tv fixed. Does not have fridge or small amenities like disposables which I for once needed but didn’t want to go downstairs and ask staff. Reconstruction was occurring so hardly checked out the communal areas."

"Amazing stay at the double tree in Amsterdam! I can’t recommend this place more! Very convenient location close to the train as well as downtown. Amenities were very sufficient as well! Beautiful restaurants, beautiful room, pre check in luggage storage, comfortable bedding, and amazing staff! Our favorite part was being offered a warm chocolate chip cookie from one of the sweetest staff members ever- every time we’d walk in the door.
