Pas de porte aux toilettes (intimité ?) douche dans la chambre avec ventilation très bruyante. Les 4 fenêtres de la pièce principale ne s ouvrent pas ce qui était anxiogène. On me répond que c est parce que le bâtiment est classé mais les fenêtres des chambres de l étage s ouvrent !! La climatisation de la chambre ne permet pas de...

"Sehr netter unkomplizierter Empfang, gemütliches hübsches Tinyhouse wie beschrieben. Lage sehr schön am See. Alles sauber.Der See einladend. Die Nähe zu Amsterdam top. Die Beschallung der viel befahrenen Straße ist immer präsent und stört leider etwas die Idylle. Das wäre nur mit einer Schallschutzmauer zu dämmen an der Straße."

"Beautifuly decorated and comfy beds. Directly on the lake and friendly staff. Bring a gas cooker or one use bbq type thing for your meals or there are Restaurants or I saw a family with take away pizza. A little fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls supplied. Soft, fluffy towels, washing up things too. Supermarket 5 mins away. One needs to be used to being self-sufficient and down to earth. Fresh water tap around the corner, showers and toilets shared and regularly cleaned. Beautiful and peaceful....

"We ended up booking at this inn because our flight to Portugal was cancelled the day before our flight and we had to overnight in the Netherlands. We didn’t want to stay super close to the airport. After looking at the photos of the inn on Expedia, we chose to stay at the Abbey Abcoude, as it seemed close enough to Schipol without being right at the airport. The taxi to Abcoude is pricey, but we discovered the next day that the train is a short walk away from the inn and only involves one...

"Do not pass up the opportunity to stay in this lovely home! It is stunning, bucolic, situated right along the canal with a gorgeous pool and landscape. We walked to the lake to view late sunsets, we rented a sloop to tour the lakes and canals, and we made so made memories during our stay."
