"We were sad to see so much destruction from floods as we drove in to property. A cabin we stayed at a few years ago was ruined. Two next to our parking space were ruined as well. So sad! BUT our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable in cabin 21. Sitting on the porch watching the low stream and the deer we lovely! We hope to go back soon!!"

"Cabin was the perfect size for 2 people. Area was quiet, surrounded by pine trees. Close to downtown Ruidoso while at the same time seeming far away due to being surrounded by nature. Cabin was equipped with everything you need for the kitchen, bath, bed and grill. Gas grill and coffee maker with both Kcup and brewing. The only negative would be that the fireplace was not operational. We would definitely stay again."

"We had a great stay at the cabin! It was very clean and in a convenient location, only about 5 minutes from Walmart, yet still tucked away from the main road, so it was nice and quiet in the woods. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to bathroom and shower essentials.The only downside was that the bed sheets on one of the beds seemed used, as they had hair on them (not sure if from pets or people). Thankfully, there was a stack of clean sheets provided, so...

"What a wonderful cabin! It had everything my husband and I needed. The kitchen and living room area were spacious, the wi-fi connection was strong, and it was such a plus to have a whirlpool tub and a hotub! We also saw deer nearby! Great experience!"

"We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, attractive, well furnished and met our needs. The neighborhood was quiet with little to no traffic on that street. There were great restaurants close by and shopping. We had a little trouble with the access code when we tried to enter, but Hummingbird was quick to respond with another door code. "

"This little cabin in the woods is "a piece of heaven on earth"! It is cozy, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. It is quiet, there are deer, and it isn't far from Capitan or Ruidoso. There is room for 1 or for 6. The hostess is wonderful and she wants to make sure your stay is everything you could want in a "home away from home". Our kids and grandkids live nearby and we will stay at Holly's Hideaway every chance we get. "
