"The location was peaceful and close to hiking and restaurants. There was plenty of deer and rabbits for our viewing pleasure. I liked there was no internet so that my vacation forced me to disconnect and relax (something I have a hard time doing). Take some games, DVDs, and books and relax. Only one real recommendation - chairs (rockers or a porch swing) on the front porch. It is a great porch and that is where we saw most of the wild life. I could have sat out there for hours."

The fishing was good in the creek behind the cabin. There is some poison ivy to look out for. We also saw a soft shell turtle and muskrat in the creek behind the cabin, which was very cool. "I surprised my fiancé for his 50th birthday with this weekend getaway. This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean, the bed was comfy and the quiet seclusion of the property was exactly what we were looking for! Plus, it was so close to the Hocking Hills Park! The host was gracious and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again. The only suggestion I would make is that the water softener needs to be balanced."
