"An absolutely beautiful little place perfect to unwind and switch off from the stresses of busy work lives. Very quiet and private, a wonderfully cosy little space with a spacious deck and lush gardens to enjoy on a good day. Our dog Max loved the stay as much as we did! "easy check in. amazing, spacious and clean room. Beach is literally across the road from the lodge. My room had stunning sunset views over the beach, it was lovely. The shower was really good as well - strong water pressure and hot temp. No issues with the wifi either, it was speedy as."

It's also a short drive to Waihi Beach for food and fun activities.Just 2 things to keep in mind (not a critique!): (1) the driveway is gravel and steep but easy to navigate and (2) the kitchenette is small so check specific amenities ahead of time."
