"Beautiful hotel well located for hikes in the area. We stayed in the large cottage which is a very nice spacious option for families. Staff was very kind and accommodating (always went the extra mile) and as others have noted the food was really excellent. Light and healthy and tasted very fresh—the best food we had in Rwanda. "

"This hotel is the best place to stay in Kinigi/to gorilla trek! It’s the closest lodge to the Dian Fossey campus and women’s village, and the staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. We loved that we’d come back to the hotel and they’d clean our shoes and give us a foot massage. They’d also get a fire going in your room while you are having dinner. We’d come back to bed with a heated bed (thanks to a warm water bottle they place in there) and a fire...

"Our time at My Hill Eco Lodge was deeply relaxing and truly memorable. The location is absolutely perfect — set on a hillside with what I believe are the best views of the Twin Lakes. "Het hotel is ruim opgezet, het personeel vriendelijk. Ontvangst met gemberthee. Het hotel was schoon, de kamers ruim. sAvonds werd de haard in onze kamer aangestoken. Voor onze safari naar de Golden Monkeys was het een heel goede locatie, ook voor de Gorilla safari in Rwanda is het een goede plek. Het eten was uitgebreid , maar de kwaliteit viel een beetje tegen. "

"The house is a 15-20’ walk from the center. Difficult to communicate with the lady (no French, little English) but her husband speaks fluent French. Excellent breakfast, clean and spacious room."
