"We loved our stay because it was so different and had so much history on the walls and our room loved it so much I was sad it was to hard for me after my hip operation to get to the pools just to steep and to far down steps etc But everything else was 110% we loved it THANK YOU"

"We got a family room. Was perfect for what we needed. It’s not a modern facility but it was clean, well equiped, warm and conveniently located within walking distance to our function. Cute little kitchen where you could cook a basic meal for your family if you wanted too. You do need to enter the bedroom to access the bathroom but that was ok for us. A 24hr wild bean cafe two minutes walk away. Perfect for what we needed. A clean, safe space to spend the night. Would def stay again and we...

"The house was easy to find as it was so distinctive, hard to miss with the pinkness of it. The art work on the walls was lovley as well as the story around the house. The beds were comfy and the house was warm. Thanks for a lovely nights sleep"

"Nice little apartment in Putaruru. Host welcomed us on arrival and showed us where everything was in the apartment. Good place to stay if you ever need to visit Putaruru."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Home on the hill. Perfect place to relax as a group and take in the views. This lovely home has everything you need and is comfy and cosy. We loved the movie room too!! Would definitely stay here again if we had the chance. Thank you"

"A fantastic stay, we booked for two nights but loved it that much we asked to stay another night, it was almost two! Perfect for a couple of friends, two rooms, comfy beds and plenty of towels. The Spa amazing! There is limited wifi signal an old TV and a selection of DVD's and some games, so not for you if can't unplug. We found it warm, cosy and would highly recommend, plus Sue was great to deal with. A perfect spot. "

"We often use this accommodation for our staff when we have Shutdown work at Kinleth. Hosts are wonderful."

"It is a great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a peaceful and serene place for nature loving people. Sandra was prompt to answer any question I had. Definitely I will stay there again if I happen to travel that way."

"The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us!"

"We ended up leaving. It stunk there was moldy food in top of oven. No smoke alarms. We were actually disgusted. Windows were dirty. We didnt want to make a scene so said we had to leave for family matters. Would not recommend this place infact no smoke alarms is a major health and safety breech. Never be back."

"The area is quiet, and semi-rural, with easy access off the main road. The unit was clean and presentable, but dated, the unit needs some money spent on the property, and furnishings. The staff was kind and courteous, accommodating with requests. I do wish that some milk had been put in the unit, along with a hand towel, and facecloth. "

"Property was clean and room was modern. Staff were friendly and location was great. Be aware there is the Polynesian spa across from the property so there was definitely the sulphur smell around the area but a lot of Rotorua has that smell. Would definitely recommend the accommodation here"
