"We had a lovely week’s holiday in this excellent cottage. It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There were nice little touches like tea, coffee and sugar. The torches in the bedside drawers were useful, especially in the night with the step down to the bathroom. The stairs were steep (we are in our late 70’s) but the bannister was good so not a problem. "Our family generally enjoyed Marble Bridge Farm especially the pool and hot tub. First impression not great as porch and key pad cobwebby. Other areas outside, like lights, similar. Kitchen well equipped but lacking a large non stick frying pan in good condition. We were surprised that for an up market property there were no table napkins. We couldn’t switch on the large television in the annex. On investigation we found the remote had one battery missing. We never found out how to turn...

"Nice bungalow in a great location. Very quiet and close to amenities. Enjoyed our stay. Could benefit from some blackout curtains in the twin bedded room. Some cleaning materials would be useful."

"The property was in a fantastic location, with excellent views. The pair of little grebes on the pond were a joy to watch. The property was within easy reach of the town centre, which has much to offer. The property was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa was not comfortable if you have the slightest back issue (style over function), but we didn't spend that much time on it. We enjoyed the balcony, and peace and quiet of the location. We will be back!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The hosts were helpful and the setting is idyllic with pheasants and wildlife all around. Close to lots of forest walks and to local pubs and to the pretty village of Petworth. We were at the cottage for almost three weeks and it felt like home when we left. Very central for a visit to West Sussex and all that it has to offer."
