"Friendly helpful staff Basic, just stayed one night. Forgot to ask about milk generally that in the fridge? Other reviews were right about truck noise late into the night and early morning. But seems to be the same for other accomodation in the area"

"This is a lovely and well equipped cottage though was a little chilly the night with a heavy frost (until we located the heater!) It was also a bit confusing to locate, as it is up several driveways, past other houses, but we got there without too much trouble!"

"Great house in a convenient location. It was great having a fireplace as it was quite cool. Being allowed to have a dog was fantastic although note the property isn't fenced. Communication with the host was very good. At some point some work needed on the shower box just to smarten it up. Otherwise we had a lovely stay didn't even turn on the TV. Kawhia is well worth a visit and Ocean beach with the hot water is fantastic"
