"Ron brought room service - thank you! Very kind a friendly staff. The hotel is in the center of Modesto, close to the train tracks. The train passes through about every 2 hours with a loud whistle at night. So every 2 hours you are being woken up by the train. I has to stay another night and asked if there is a good hotel close by which is quieter. Front desk staff, oh, if you had a room to the other side, it would have been much better. I initially asked for a quiet room, why would you not...

"The owners were nice and very respectful but the front desk employees the white blonde girl that went to check the room to give back my deposit stole my pen lighter and charger that were plugged into the tv and said nothing to the staff or maids and I spend 45 dollars on that lighter"

"This is a nice property next to a great little amusement area. If you’re a light sleeper ask for a room away from the freeway. We were on the corner and it was incredibly noisy. Pool and hot tub water not very clean. Needs better attention."

"Clean place to stay. Friendly staff. I knew they no longer provide breakfast, but was surprised there was no fridge or microwave, so I'm glad I didn't bring anything I needed to refrigerate this time. There was no dresser either. Only a small corner table and a nightstand. Thankfully, we only stayed 1 night. But it was clean and felt safe and I'd stay again."

"Happy with the one night stay. We were here for an exam next morning. The hotel was clean，new and staff were friendly. The free breakfast was good to start the day. The only down point was the noise from Highway 99, if the room was facing it and you are happened to be a light sleeper."

"The room was larger than normal. With a couple extra tables which was nice. It was really clean. The only thing I would have liked was to have a hair dryer in the room. I found out later they have them at the front desk but we just bought one at the Dollar General down the street. Really impressed with the value for the money. Stayed here twice in the last month. Would stay here again."

"Fridge didn't work. Reported it to staff and nothing was done. Towel service is only every other day. Caulking in the bathroom had failed entirely, the water lines in the shower were hooked up backwards and the TP rod was angled downward. Either have no maintenance crew or don't like to pay for maintenance crew."

"This is a good decent hotel. They have a full breakfast, very helpful staff and pets are welcome. It’s a bit of an older place but very comfortable. I will stay here again."
