" After a shaky start, the service improved over the weekend, The bed was clean but the carpet appeared dirty and the shower had mold around the edges. The outdoor balcony needed a good cleaning. Breakfast both days was really good."

"The loft was great. It’s in the middle of nowhere. We barely had a phone signal. But that was okay. No WiFi. That was okay. But most of the dvds were scratched so bad you couldn’t watch them. We did watch 3 movies. It was quiet."

The area is so pretty, and there's a park across the street with a creek, it was beautiful to take walks through the pretty town and it wasn't far from Nashville, we easily did a day trip there and to Dollywood! "We always enjoyed staying at the Tompkinsville Inn. We haven’t stayed in several years and we were very disappointed this time. The property has really gone downhill. The grass had not been mowed in some time. The pool was full of green water. There seemed to be no attempt at repairing or updating the property. And, they are charging $110 per night. We won’t be staying there, again."

"What a lovely stay! Our host was so accommodating and everything was as pictured on the listing. In fact, it was even better than I thought because there was a table that sat 8-10 people inside the house that I didn't realize we would have! And the hot tub was brand new as well. My kids loved the basement with all of its funtivities, and we loved snuggling up on the couch with a fire crackling away. Highly recommend!"

"Such a unique place. Definitely need a truck or suv to get to it. But, we loved it. Kevin and Emily were awesome. We did have an issue with the internet for tv, and our hosts did reimburse us some money. Very kind of them. Sitting on the porch overlooking the river was my tv. Wonderful experience. Would love to go back there."
