"This resort needs a complete remodel. The rooms are very old and dated. The restaurant was OK (group dinner) with reasonable prices but food quality and flavor very average at best. The deck off our room was so splintered you had to wear shoes. Our kitchen did not have a wine opener and front desk would not provide one, only insisting they were for sale. I said it should be included in a kitchen, but deaf ears. Other rooms had a wine opener."

"We were scheduled to stay for a week but only stayed two nights. We stayed in the lodge. While walking down the concrete stairs, I stepped down and my ankle rolled. It chipped a bone in my ankle. I was looking down while stepping down and I was expecting to put my foot on concrete, not the grass. The concrete was broken up a bit. The concrete stairs were better than the railroad tie stairs at the other end of the lodge. The staff did bring me a large bag of ice and baggies to ice my very swollen...

"On check in day the toilet wasn’t flushing and someone had moved the refrigerator tray and I couldn’t put in back in place. I phoned the manager and she was at baseball game in Hermantown. It was close to an hour before she returned to the motel. Finally she made the adjustments. The garbage on the property was full on Monday. And still full when I left Wed am. The ac in my room was so loud it vibrated the windows. No one visible in the office I dropped the key around 0930 . What a...

"This was great for our family of 3 to stay. Super convenient location to Two Harbors. My kid loved the pool. We had access to both the Burlington Bay and Superior Shores swimming amenities, but the Burlington Bay area was much cleaner and better kept. Room and beds were clean and comfy, view was beautiful. Would return."

"We liked it was close to everything but for two people staying, there should have been washcloths for both days and there were not. Coffee was just enough for one day and the sugar and creamer was old. Someone’s hair band hanging in the shower so was it even cleaned? Was told carpets had to be scrubbed due to some spots. Carpet was wet. Other than that, was a cute place. Couldn’t sit outside as there was only 1 chair."
