"The room was clean. The pool was not open yet I was still charged a resort fee. Our "remodeled" room was done very poorly. The bathroom floor was so warped you could not close the door. Whoever installed the shower head thought it would be a good idea to have it permanently aimed at the floor. I would not recommend this place to anyone"

"Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed. Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop...

"When we pulled up, we thought that the hotel had closed and was abandoned. Parking lot was huge with very few cars and took us a while to find the front desk. The people there were friendly enough, but it just felt like they were doing what they could keep everything together. The room was clean, but rundown. Would not recommend."

"No way to contact them. If you call their number you get a reservation center and they won't give or the local number. Bed and room proper was neat, but on both windows the curtains were rags. Bathroom was terrible condition. Mold, rot and the toilet hardly flushed. Only a couple teens working there but they were very nice"

We adventured to Manitou Waters and Boulder Junction for coffee each of the mornings to explore, and then explored their crystal clear waters of the lake at the cabin, and read on the dock all afternoon and evening.
