"Elevators where to busy to use Sonya's to use the stairs every time I tried to get my free drinks I had to wait in line and by time I got up there was turned away and had to pay for my drinks"

"Our ac went out in the middle of the nite. Its was horribly hot when you are un a top unit. Was only refunded $40 for the 1 nite stay."

"Bed was comfortable, nice closet in bathroom was convenient, beautiful view of the river. Enjoyed getting drinks at the bar and spending a couple of hours at the pool, which had plenty of seating. Easy check in and check out. Note there’s no elevator to the second floor, but the stairs are reasonable. Will stay there again when in the area."

"The rivers was a lovely place to hang out, and the pool was great. I wish we had brought some groceries so we could have spent more time just relaxing onsite."

"Very helpful staff, very clean facilities and the entire place smelled wonderful"

"First time staying at this hotel. It was a great experience. Front desk person when we arrived was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Well organized and complete with different options. Staff in general very attentive. We definitely stay here again when back at New Braunfels."

"Everything"

"Not a bad hotel, but they need to place it on a schedule to be remodeled"

"This was absolutely the worst motel in San Marcos. Stay away! The king room only has three pillows"

"Convenient location. Free parking and a decent breakfast included."

"The property was okay, our shower was broke and the front desk refused to move our room until my husband kept insisting. According to the front desk they were sold out and fully booked. We were told we had to wait until the maintenance would come to fix it. We were exhausted from the day and wanted to shower. Finally the front desk moved our room across within a matter of minutes. Breakfast was lacking the basic sausage and texas waffles that most hotels have on hand."

"The room was nice but soap dispensers in bathtub didn't work. No hooks for towels for shower/bath. TV didn't work - reception was constantly breaking up and TV went off randomly. Juice machine didn't work. Eliptical machine in fitness room was broke. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. TV had no setup for Netflix or other services. Room key didn't work for side doors."
