"The cabin wasvery nice, beautiful wood throughout. Very cozy, clean, nicely decorated. Nicely equipped with needful things (toiletries, dishes, towels and pots and pans. Didnt use hot tub but checked it out, it looked very clean and ready to go. Great stay."

"The deck on the backside of the cabin is amazing! We set up some camping chairs and hung out on the deck for hours enjoying the nature around us. A heard of deer visited the front yard every morning. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. There's a basement in the cabin that can double as a secondary living space, if you have teenagers wanting to do their own thing. Area was quiet and secluded. "

"Our long weekend at Shaded Log Cabin was great! Loved having the fire pit and swim spa. We watched squirrels, chipmunks, and deer in the woods. Not as private as we would have liked but was a great place to stay. Very clean and well stocked. We loved relaxing on the porches."

"This cabin was wonderful! It was clean and decorated so well. The screened in back porch was my favorite space. My boys had the best rime exploring outside. The owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. I can't recommend it enough!"

"Enjoyed our stay at Cardinal Cabin. The pics are exactly the way it looks. Hot tub is excellent. It even has jets for your feet!!! This is a plus, plus, lol. Keurig coffe machine was great. Loved the free park pass as well! The only critic I would give is, please get a new TV remote. The one for the main TV is pretty old and the buttons don't work very well. Other than that, an A all around "

"We took our family to celebrate our 36 year wedding anniversary and we can't say enough good things about this place . If you needed anything they were there within 5 minutes. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning!!"

"Stay was fantastic. The only issue was the elevator was out and we were on the second floor. My partner and I are in our 60s and had to carry our luggage up to the second floor. The owner did communicate the issue with the elevator, but only offered a refund rather than any kind of compensation. We were committed to stay at the point where we found out about it. I’m sure it no-fault to the property owner. "
