"I was disappointed in the contentential breakfast. No scrambled eggs or bacon/sausage . Other than that it was fine . You just adapt to whatever is served. Waffles were good."

"The property when you first drive up, looks somewhat abandoned. Properties next door abandoned, overgrown brush, pot holes in the road to get to the hotel . It’s pretty worn down."

"I had booked and paid on expedia. Arrived and they told me the room I booked, which was a regular king bed was not available as the Marriott had overbooked. All they had available was a double bed or a handicap room with a king bed. Checked the area and most hotels were sold out. Took the king handicap room. The bed was low to the floor but okay, the room smelled horrible and the floor in the bathroom was covered in water, not sure from what. Probably would not stay again as what is the point...

"My room's bed was unmade and there was a dirty pair of worn underwear on the floor. There was also urine in the toilet that wasn't flushed, and the trash can was full. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The floors were dirty. The shower head was coming undone from the wall. Everything was wrong with my room. The whole motel is outdated, dirty, and the hallways smelled like curry."

"To start off, staff was super helpful and understanding we were going to get their late and they accommodated for it. We get there, fantastic clean room that looks and smells like it’s out of 1985 (in a good way). Super vintage and cool. My wife and I absolutely loved it. Beds were comfy and clean with plenty of blankets as well. And the shower?? Basically a dang pressure washer! That water pressure is fantastic!! If you’re looking for a VERY reasonably priced motel, and love that old school...

"It is very bright at night with the big window. One window has drapes the other one did not. The shower curtain did not reach the bottom so the floor in the bathroom was soaked every time we showered, needs some attention. Room was lovely and great location. Walk to shops and restaurants and the lake."

"Workers are very helpful and understanding. Only issue we had was with the casino in town. They would bend over backwards to see that you was taken care of."

"We booked a cabin for 5 days, upon arrival, apparently our cabin was double booked. So Bryan upgraded us to one of the duplexes that had 2 cabins with ajoining door. It was very nice and updated plenty of places to sleep. We also rented a pontoon. One of the days was very windy, so we did not take the pontoon out, and he comped us one of the days we reserved the pontoon for that was very nice to do. Overall, everything was good. Would definitely consider coming back to rent in the future. VERY...

"I plan to stay here again. My wife and I take a drive every year to see the fall colors. My opinion, this is the only place to stay in Bemidji. Fact is, now I look to stay at Hilton Double Tree locations wherever we travel to. (stayed at one in Denver this past June. Would have stayed at one in Canada in Sep if I could have found one) I'm sold on the quality and service. The Bemidji staff are WONDERFUL. (great b-fast also)"
