"If you love a rustic, quiet setting by the lake and not be annoyed by the lack of 'newness' or up-to-date appliances and amenities then this is the place for you. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay but only because of the setting. From my understanding this lodge/resort was sold fairly recently and is in the process of being updated. The main lodge is very modern and up-to-date but prices were out of our range. We also have 2 small dogs and I don't believe you can have dogs in the main...

"For the price it was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful. We need to do some laundry and the machine was down but they let us use the hotel washer and dryer. They went way above and beyond to help us. Amazing staff."

"Ice machine was out of order, ,our room had something liquid on the floor upon arrival, hair dryer didn’t work , bottom dresser drawer was very dirty, fridge and microwave were not working on arrival. Most quality inns are decent but this one is below our previous quality inn stays"

"There was a lot of noise from upstairs because of the event center. More than indicated both at night and a lot in the morning that woke us up. You can also hear the kitchen staff like they’re in the room with you."

"Bath tub was bad. Dark brown towels and wash cloths to hide dirt. Rust stains, bad water temperature control. I had to stand outside in 20F weather and call to "check in". "

"I plan to stay here again. My wife and I take a drive every year to see the fall colors. My opinion, this is the only place to stay in Bemidji. Fact is, now I look to stay at Hilton Double Tree locations wherever we travel to. (stayed at one in Denver this past June. Would have stayed at one in Canada in Sep if I could have found one) I'm sold on the quality and service. The Bemidji staff are WONDERFUL. (great b-fast also)"

"Very clean and cozy spot!! Great access to Itasca State Park any time of year. Super easy check in/out, and very accommodating host. Enjoyed great meals at Lobos, bar/grill in Becida, and in Bemidji. Will definitely be back!"
