"Our stay at Hotel Amira was beyond expectations and exceptional. The location and the staff, especially the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. The location was great. Several choices of restaurants nearby and close to beaches. Having stayed at many places in Costa Rica I would highly recommend Hotel Amira as a great place to stay."

If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. "Great little house with everything you need. The pool is a bit small, but has an outdoor shower and bbq! The only thing is that we thought it was beach front and it is really a Kilometre away ot more. However, Carrillo beach is isolated and beautiful!"

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"We had an amazing trip. It felt like a once in a lifetime vacation. The villa was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. Everything was very clean and Alex and Jenny were great! We took advantage of meals being prepared every day and it was so nice to sit around the table with the beautiful backdrop and wonderful food. All of us, ages 5 to 75 enjoyed the pool daily. "

"This is a great property for the price. Overall I recommend this rental and would rent again. We were in an upstairs unit of a four Plex (3). No real negatives but a few FYIs. Host was super responsive. Pool is a definite plus. Good-size, super clean, there were lounge chairs but they needed padding, two large tables and chairs for all guests. Overall beautiful pool area.
